The Artist in B&W:
(The back–story on a Leica M6...)

Whilst travelling shooting for exhibitions, there are many a serendipitous moment that flies by; it's a hassle to turn back just to shoot a frame or two... Sometimes I fake excuses; like my camera gear is out-of-reach or, I'll shoot next time passing ––lame, lazy thoughts while 'serendipity' rapidly shrinks in my rearview mirror –I know only too well... opportunity lost!
I now sport an old film camera; the Leica M6, just as I did my school tie; sloppy and loosely around my neck...

This is a fact:
On 02 May 2021, while chatting to Steve Blair on Fish Hoek Beach, he referred to my M6 as a 'snapper'. Well, "SNAPPER" it is from now on! This is to honour our mutual friend, Snapper, (he's definitely not a Leica, on in years perhaps, hehe...)
