Results:

The Rome game had an attendance of 61,461 and a new study by UEFA has shown the RBS 6 Nations topping the list of most-attended global sports events.

The research, presented as part of the Club Licensing Benchmarking Report, showed the Championships to have an average attendance of 72,000 per game in the 2015 season - with a total attendance of 1,080,000 over the 15 games.

The total attendance figure is dwarfed by the NFL, with their figure coming in at a staggering 17,510,000, but with 258 games per season, their average attendance is 68,400 - good enough for second place on the top 50 list.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is in third place with an average attendance of 53,592, while another rugby competition sits in fourth - with the 2015 Rugby World Cup racking up an average of 51,621 attendees over its 48 fixtures.
