Wrote an original contribution for inclusion among a collection of 18 messages from religious leaders and scholars in support of the UN's Millennium Development Goals. The brief was to write in a style that encouraged communities to take a proactive role in their society towards achieving these internationally declared Goals. My approach was to present two persuasive arguments to "make poverty history", written from the perspective of an international statesman and an international charitable organisation. It resulted in the attached document which encouraged international leaders to help change the mindsets of their societies towards thinking about these issues in constructive and useful ways.
