About me

I'm Kaynat Choudhury, a recent graduate of University of Kent. I have just completed a multimedia journalism postgraduate course taught by many tutors who are active in the media world, such as Tim Luckhurst. I have a very strong desire to work in the media, especially in social media.

You will see from my attached CV, I have gained a huge range of transferable and specific skills which are all related to working in media. Throughout my course, I have experienced TV, print, radio and online newsdays. This experience has given me invaluable insight into the processes behind the different forms of media and provided me with hands on experience with shooting, writing, gathering information, editing, subbing, presenting and sticking to a tight deadline.

My most recent role was for a group called Lightening Ensemble (Project named 1908London). They needed a media marketer as well as someone to set up the website and create online traffic. I was constantly surprised to see how social media produced a huge impact on audience members.

I actively enjoy researching and learning about new things. I'm confident in my computing skills and have always been a fast learner. I like working in teams but can also work successfully on my own.

I do believe I will be a strong candidate for this role.
