ABOUT

After researching how television watching has changed in the past 10 years, I wanted to apply drawings that felt like straightforward editorials to something more tactile and approachable. The acrylic acts as a screen while allowing the audience to dismantle and reassemble my drawings into different compositions to illustrate how the television audience has more power over when, where and how they watch. While the audience is free to make any composition, certain faces are specifically designed to fit with others to create images that could go alongside academic texts in an article format. Quotes from the texts are spread across the boxes in order to encourage the audience to use the boxes playfully as a puzzle.

TV is no longer the box in the corner
