ABOUT
For my final collection, I took my main inspiration from Japanese Kimonos, the silhouette and patterns illustrated within traditional Japanese woodblock prints. For a sustainable element within my collection, I used the Boro aesthetic of patch working panels together to avoid pattern cutting and therefore making it a no-waste collection. I knitted and constructed a four outfit collection for a catwalk show at my university, and then went on to being selected to exhibit my work at the Nottingham Trent University stand.
