Katherine's work

About Katherine

I will be graduating from BA Hons Film at Falmouth University this year and am looking to apply my skills in a creative workplace. As a film student I have extensive experience in creating and delivering key presentations and well as taking instruction and feedback from my peers and lecturers as well as liaising with new contacts in the film and television industry.

In the Autumn term I undertook an unpaid position as Production Assistant on a series of music video shoots for an up and coming artist, collaborating with local production company S2S Media and others. This role required me to take on the tasks of scheduling, the completion of Risk Assessment Forms and other administrative tasks on the pre-production and production of the project.

During my time on the film course I have also gained experience using Adobe editing systems and am proficient with Microsoft Office. I am flexible and hardworking, performing well under pressure or to a tight deadline. Whilst studying I have honed my skills for individual project-based work but am very keen to participate in more group-oriented projects and work as part of a team. I have good people skills and although initially reserved I quickly become an active and engaged member of the team.

I feel that I would be the ideal candidate for the position of Assistant Content Producer as I have experience working within the film production environment - working to a brief and using the software required for the job, networking with potential employers and colleagues, and a solid theoretical background and practical training in film as a discipline.

The final work for my undergraduate degree will be handed in on the 18th May 2015 and thereafter I will be available to work on a full-time basis. My contact number (listed under Personal Details) is: and you can contact me at any time.

Thank you very much for looking at my application and I hope to hear from you soon. If you have any questions or would like to chat then send me a message. Yours sincerely, Katherine Hudson.
