To whom it may concern
My name is Katherine Desjardins and I am currently the Senior Content, Social Media and Affiliates Executive at Mercury Holidays in Sevenoaks. Due to the current climate, I am now looking for a new role and something that will challenge me.
I am of the mindset that content is all around us, whether we are reading, listening or viewing something. For content to make an impact, you have to grab the audience's attention and maintain their level of excitement. Content has the opportunity to make a difference and the person who is crafting said content must be passionate and able to convey the importance of the subject matter. I have been writing content for over 4 years now and I can write about anything, from theatre and travel to my own experience of living abroad and teaching English. I can understand complex briefs and summarise difficult content into manageable, bite-sized chunks that the audience both enjoys and retains. I have a love for the English language and all the nuances that come with it, I am a pedant for spelling and grammar, and I relish a challenge. This job opportunity excites me and I feel that I would be an excellent fit for the team.
