RE: Position of Junior Strategist.

Dear recruiter,

With a years experience as an Insight Consultant and a keen interest in strategy and planning, I would like to take this opportunity to apply for the position of Junior Planner.

On a personal level, my current role has enabled me to gain a thorough awareness of marketing across a variety of sectors, categories and brands. Professionally, I have had experience of database management; however my day-to-day role relies upon my ability to pin-point brand development opportunities and being proactive to developing marketing angles for use with clients and brands. I also lead internal meetings to convey the most up-to-date marketing developments on a one-to-one and team basis.

Though comfortable working on my own initiative to meet deadlines, I also liaise with account handlers about current client activity and strategy. I have experience with inducting new staff and have mentored interns. I believe that the aforementioned responsibilities reflect my ability to lead and work with teams varying in size and seniority while providing support for others.

As I am organized, analytically minded, and enjoy problem solving, I am able to actively contribute to a group for a project. It is with this skill set that I am applying for the role of Junior Planner.
