This video was one of the course projects of my MA course. The theme was the triangle. My concept was based on the metaphor that is being created from two words: fragmentation and union – which are the key words of the kaleidoscope – and the number three which is contained in the triangle. In a love relationship you have fragmentation when a third person invades, union symbolizes the couple. That creates the metaphor of the love triangle. Based on the above, I decided to make a movie about the love triangle which was filmed through a kaleidoscope. The best way to present this was through dance.

I projected the movie on my iMac and then I placed a custom made kaleidoscope (30cm wide and 1m long) in front of the screen and filmed the projected video through it.
