Portrait of Veronica, a pro piercer, lover of body modification and tattoos based in London.
It was an interesting experience to shoot portraits of a person with such intense eyes, one of a kind. Her eyes are tattooed black, it's not the editing. The theme was dark art.
The title of the series was inspired by her other tattoo she has on her hands. I find that it resonates well with the images. I chose black surrounding for more contrast, adding subtle light on a side helping to stand out.
Inspired by the comic books 'Thorgal' by Jean Van Hamme and Grzegorz Rosiński, as well as 'The Witcher' series by Andrzej Sapkowski, I've turned the portraits into fantasy style.
