ABOUT
How do you create a commemorative and practical design which works effectively across different media? Our official Karoshi World Cup wall chart indulged our passion for information design in both print and digital.
To mark the Brazil 2014 World Cup we created a limited edition wall chart and accompanying website. Each B2 poster was screen printed in silver onto Ebony Colorplan and supplied with a metallic pen, allowing fans to record the results. Our responsive website, which allowed users to customise the site in their team colours and to reflect their time zone, also featured a downloadable fixture list and was updated with results as the tournament progressed.
The website received over 250,000 views across 172 countries. The use of social media played a significant role in the site’s reach with over 2,000 tweets and 9,800 likes and posts on Facebook. This was further enhanced through features on many online blogs including Site Inspire, Designboom, Minimalissimo, Awwwards and Fubiz.
