This analogue exploration investigates how expressive calligraphy can transform portrait photography into a new visual narrative.

By combining found imagery with handwritten gestures, collage and physical mark-making, each composition explores the relationship between identity, language and emotion.
The calligraphy is intentionally abstract. Rather than functioning as readable text, it becomes gesture - adding movement, rhythm and personality while inviting viewers to create their own interpretation of each portrait.
