I am currently in a temp position at Shell International Head Office in the Media Relations Department as the Media Relations Assistant.This is a temporary position until 25 October 2007.As you will see form my CV I was employed by adidas South Africa as the Communications Assistant(PR and Advertising)where I conceptualise and implement marketing strategies for the following categories within the brand:football,adidas women,adidas by Stella McCartney,Running and Originals.My experience at adidas confirmed my interest in the advertising industry.This included business to business as well as business to consumer projects.I resigned from adidas as there was no room for career progression.I hold a National Diploma in Marketing Management and an Advanced Diploma in Marketing and Advertising Communications Management,which I obtained at the Red and Yellow Advertising School of Logic and Magic in Cape Town.Red and Yellow is one of South Africa's top advertising schools and offers a practical,hands-on course that focuses on lateral thinking and diverse working experiences.I love working with people and I am good at building interpersonal relationships. I am hardworking,enthusiastic and always willing to go the extra mile.I set myself high standards and give great attention to detail when completing a project or even just in my everyday work.I also enjoy a challenge, as it is exciting and I believe that with a 'can-do' attitude anything is possible.
