About me
Having been in the industry now for 30 years I've worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from Buses to User Guides and everything in between.
The clients have been varied too. I currently work with some fabulous design agencies including So Design, BMInc, and Halogen, and have a few direct clients myself. Over the years I've worked on many brands including Orange, 3, Nationwide, Bath Festivals and Modwen.
I have a thorough knowledge of InDesign, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and am also efficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and any utilities required to complete a project. I am able to take a pencil visual right through to print-ready artwork, using my flair for layout and typography and my own initiative along the way. I also have, what seems to be, a rare talent for being able to create Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates and make them look pretty!
Things I like: guidelines; consistency; deleting double spaces; inserting en-dashes; lining things up; and nothing excites me more than setting up a whole new set of style sheets with quick key commands.
My clients consider me to be fast, efficient, accurate, organised and fun to work with.
PAPERCUTTING
Over the past 8 years, I've put my scalpel skills to use and become a paper cutter and illustrator under the brand 'Mustard Cuts'. I regularly trade at art trails and fairs and have a wide variety of greetings cards and prints for sale.
