Animations for Karcher "Yellow Friday" promotions on social media. From the branding guidelines I created the text in 3D and textured it with a similar textile finish to their products.

For the simulation I used Phoenix FD in 3dsmax and adapted the honey pre-set to have the consistency of oil. I then adjusted the wetting, timing and steps values to get the fluid to first stick to the words and then roll off at the end.

I setup the materials and animated V-Ray lights using the IPR to ensure the reflection catch the edges contrast to the oil.
