ABOUT

The people behind Haywire Booking started an annual rock festival in Timișoara, called Haywire Festival. Bands from different corners of the world gathered here to participate in one great event. All was set, but the people from Haywire Booking needed an image. Then we were contacted to take care of that part, to build the image of the first edition of Haywire Festival, and by image we mean the whole package: the poster artwork, the T-shirt design,limited edition tickets, badges, bracelets, flyers and Facebook covers. The organizers gave us the liberty to do whatever we wanted as an artwork with only one condition: the concept should include a harmony between nature and technology if possible, and if it would help us in any way, we could look to the names of the participant bands for further inspiration. And so, the concept behind the artwork shows the embodiment of the symbiosis between nature and technology, the „Mother-ship” - a female character rowing her boat across the sea and keeping several connections with both the natural and artificial aspects of the world.
