ABOUT

The brief was to design and create a packaging design for a Christmas gift which advertising agency The Assembly sent out to their clients 2011. It was to contain some small biscuits with separate fillings so that you could create your own "tea-time treat", and we aimed to go for a traditional "Christmassy" look. To incorporate this, I decided to use a natural brown box with a "sleeve" of brown wrapping paper, sealed with an old fashioned red wax stamp. I created a vintage look motif for the sleeve to complete the look, and around the box I placed cream coloured lace which I sew together, as a decorative touch.
The whole project was handmade from start to finish, all materials sourced or produced by myself to keep down costs Around 50 gift boxes were produced, and sent out by post.
