ABOUT

This artwork is inspired by the famous colorful Autos (3 wheeler which doesn't have any doors / windows) in India. It captures the current mood of the people to step out of their homes and go somewhere, breathe in the fresh air - and exit the fear mode created by the pandemic.
That feeling to go somewhere at least -if not to some other country, other state, at least to some place nearby - in an Auto - steering through the lanes of the city, with air gushing in as it moves forward.
Chalo chalein (Hindi)- means Let's go - somewhere.
