In response to your recent advertisement for a graphic designer, please find attached my CV which I hope you will consider of relevance to the position on offer.
As you will gather from my resume I have been engaged in publishing (Mac based) graphic design and print production for quite a few years. My most recent employment has been with UBM Aviation as a magazine designer/producer, also providing a full service graphics draw-down (marketing and exhibition materials) and pre-press function.
During the course of my varied career I have had a broad exposure to a wide range of design and production situations, which in scope have included everything from creative problem solving, editorial design, corporate branding, financial typesetting, through to technical print production, PDF workflows print specification and purchasing.
With regard to software competencies, I have up-to-date applications skills in QuarkXpress, Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat plus MS Office running on MacOS.
I am able to support my application with a strong portfolio of work, demonstrating my range and capabilities.
