31 million tonnes of waste is produced in the UK alone each year due to our hyper consumption lifestyles. The Share Society is a peer to peer lending service that provides a different way of living as part of the collaborative consumption revolution.

The service provides a safe and easy way of swapping goods that are often left in your garage and attic. Items include things like power tools, camping gear, sports gear and other items we use very little. Meeting points with touch points and locker systems will be set up in cafes through the city so users can meet or drop off at a safe location.
The service itself also has features like deposits and reviews systems to allow users to overcome the trust barrier that comes with lending to people in their community.
