ABOUT
A project where sustainability meets innovation, offering a solution to single-use waste in beverage consumption. Reusable is a foldable and reusable cup that redefines the traditional concept of a drinking vessel. Crafted to fit seamlessly into everyday life, it aims to inspire a culture of sustainability one sip at a time.
Reusable's journey began with a simple question: How can we make eco-friendly choices effortlessly integrated into our routine? Inspired by the beauty of simplicity and functionality followed by the quest to create a solution that combines convenience with sustainability. The final concept of the foldable cup emerged as a response to countless iterations, material testing, paper prototyping, and 3D printing. Made from durable food-grade silicone, Reusable boasts a unique collapsible design that transforms it from a full-sized cup into a compact, pocket-friendly form factor. Then came the question of how to keep the cup folded. Thus, the ingenious integration of a self-contained cap was born. Now, not only can Reusable be folded, but its cap serves as a protective case, ensuring convenience wherever you go.
The addition of a push and pull mechanism for the drinking hole ensured leak-proof convenience, making Reusable ideal for to-go beverages. Every aspect of its design was meticulously considered, from the ergonomic grip and sleek aesthetics, to which mechanism is more material-efficient.
In the quest to offer versatility without compromise, Reusable comes in three distinct color options: dark blue, light aquamarine, and vibrant orange. Each hue is carefully selected to evoke a sense of vitality and freshness, reflecting the spirit of the conscious urban person. Crafted from high-grade, BPA-free silicone, the cups are sustainably colored during the injection molding process using food-safe coloring.
