he idea developed from an original item which was a Minnie mouse headband which had a reflective light on either side, I felt as though the headband was a very popular design. I imagined if the headband had a butterfly at the top of the band instead of a bow, which is where this project came to light.

I was thinking of the range of design that would make the headband more appealing. I knew I wanted to create a butterfly so I tried to create different shapes of the butterfly’s wings and the different colour schemes that would work well together.
