About me
I am a junior to mid level designer who has just finished working at Red7Mobile as a UI/UX designer and iOS developer and I am currently working freelance designing a responsive website, so I am immediate for start. As part of my work I was fortunate to be involved in various projects, more recently they have been mainly based around the gambling sector however previously the main projects I worked on were apps and some websites as well. I also dealt directly with clients throughout project life-cycles assisting in the planning, preparation, design and development stages.
The majority of the projects were Agile during the design phase where I would work with other designers using the Adobe suite to create grey-scale wire-frames for clients and stakeholders to view and give feedback on. Once these were signed off we would then design the screens/pages in more detail for the clients to review. During development we used tools such as Jira to organise our sprints and assign work.
I was involved mainly in the wire-framing and UI design stages of apps and games for large companies such as Funky Pigeon, Will Hill and Aviva. Once the designs were signed off I would implement the assets into the projects using Objective C or HTML and CSS depending on the platform and devices specified. For example, I worked in a team that delivered the Funky Pigeon app for both Windows desktop and phone as well as the iOS version of the app. This included designs that stayed in line with the company style but varied to match the platform they were released on.
At university I also became quite familiar with Maya and Blender 3D software for creating game assets for my course. As well as Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro for creating short videos. I am looking to utilize my design skills and experience and believe this position could be perfect to do so.
