At the Brief 1 project 1, our group do the research about the NEST product"smock protect", "nest thermostat ", "nest camera". We get to know the design theory and functions of NEST product. “Your smart home shouldn’t be dumb.”in their homepage,"When products work with Nest, you don’t have to tell them how to connect. Or what to do. They just work. In real homes for real people". this slogan express their product is so smart. But when we think critically about NEST product in tutorial, our group found this products not that humanize.Take the NEST Camera for example, users can not set the alarming time as they want. The interval of every two warning pictures sent from the Cam is set to be half an hour. That means it something suspicious triggers the Cam and a picture will be sent to warn the user, but the next pic will arrive half an hour later.
