FFF 2014

When i worked within circo de bakuza agency, I had the chance to be part of a big event project.

The French Football Federation came to Circo de Bakuza with a brief to design the opening ceremony of the Final French football Cup in 2014 at the Stade de France in Paris.

We wanted to create something big and original that could be seen from above while respecting the conditions imposed by FFF, among others things, they had a small budget. We worked with a choreographer and a stylist to maximize this big effect. As you can see, the young volunteers were dancing with an umbrella.

We knew from the brief, that the French Republican Guard Band will play during the ceremony. We didn't want them to be too "official", Therefore we asked them to play contemporary songs, like the eyes of the tiger, which was an important ele- ment of surprise.

We also had to take into account that the finalist team were Breton. We asked Nolwenn Leroy, a famous breton singer performed the breton hymn. Everybody in the stadium was very moved - emotive -

For this ceremony, Circo de Bakuza had to organize and to oversee the perfor- mance which included working with musicians, stylist and choerographer. We had to synchronize republican guard orchestra, singer, dancers and LED panel.

For this project I was involved from the beginning. My work ranged from choo- sing the music to designing the LED panel.
