About me
Hi, I'm Julie and here is a little bit about me...
I'm experienced conceptual designer living in sunny Walthamstow.
I have bold, original ideas and I thrive when able to develop my creative vision. I'm also an illustrator and have innovative art direction skills. I cut my teeth as a designer at Fleishman Hillard and Penguin but over two years ago I set up my design business, quickly gaining clients including the NHS and Amazon. They tell me that I'm easy to work with and hugely committed - I know that I'm a hard worker and a definite people person.
My design skills are diverse crossing both digital and print platforms and more recently art directing short films. I am experienced in designing brand identities, websites, for PowerPoint and social media campaigns and well as for magazines, brochures and most print products. I also have worked on exhibitions and event design.
I have a confident presentation style and a natural ability to connect with my clients and colleague. I was recently asked to give a talk on brand design for a business development course run by Ruth Kudzi, who was previously one of my clients. Most of my clients come via my network of contacts or via networking.
I have expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and have
good experience with Sketch and Invision and good understand of XTML and coding.
When I am not working I love nothing more than getting lost in a drawing and discovering new music.
