I read with interest your job posting for the position of Junior Designer advertised on Indeed.
I have recently completed a BA (Hons) degree in Interior, Architecture and Design at the University of West London. I would like to be considered for this role as I find this area of work very interesting and enjoyable, and I would like to extend my knowledge further in design.
I attach my CV for your attention. I would like to take this opportunity to highlight a few areas of knowledge and experience:
- A developed knowledge of sustainable issues and a good understanding of various methods of energy reduction.
- A good knowledge of building regulations.
- An understanding of SAP Energy rating and the carbon index.
- A knowledge of a variety of computer software including MS Office, OS X, Adobe software, CAD, Maya, 3DMax's and Google Sketch Up.
- A natural ability to understand customer requirements.
- Self motivated to devise solutions to design problems and situations.
- Strong planning and organisation skills ensuring results are delivered.
- A committed team player who is motivated in a creative environment.
- A determination to succeed and deliver design results under pressure.
- Knowledge of COSHH and EMS
