About me

For 7yrs I worked within successful startups.

I was ahead of Brand and Creative for printed until 2015, which was an award winning start-up which I grew, developed and lead my own creative team over the five years I helped develop the business. I was able to drive the brand and business forward within the UK, growing turnover 100% YOY, and had to be commercially minded about our design. We also grew into the european markets to increase our global presence, I focussed on understanding the markets, dealing with translator agencies and testing and learning how differing languages and cultures impacts design.

I have broad experience with all digital and print output, from display ads, emails, retargeting, video, photography, social media advertising and posts, along with tools for our social media, content execs to be able to align their posts to the brand.

Our start-up grew to be so successful we launched another in November 2014, wrap which has also been a success, so much so we brought it to television in March 2015, I was very hands on with this, from casting, wardrobe, voiceover to editing with our production agency, from a creative and brand point of view.

I am used to working in a start-up atmosphere where we work as a team and a family, motivate, train and guide the creative team forward, along with long hours and constant innovation. I moved from creative lead to brand last summer, but we didn't replace my role, so it was a merge of both, I feel my brand experience can also bring a lot to a start up that has global aspirations.

Since 2015 I transferred my skills to professional services, joining Berwin Leighton Paisner as lead on their brand and creative. I was tasked with spending the initial 6 months evolving the brand identity which was incredibly successful.

We also developed several strategic marketing campaigns in the following year, which were successful for the business winning £10m in new business, and also won us marketing awards for the creativity and approach.

In April 2018 we completed a merger with US firm Bryan Cave to become Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Which was an collaborative effort with the major stakeholders creating a new brand identity and then rolling it out globally to 36 offices.

Since then I have led on events, marketing, new technology, innovative products, the brand hierarchy, digital projects alongside strategic campaigns and now focusing on new firm messaging, evp and growth projects to align our thinking and establishing our brand and position in the market for the years ahead.
