My client was diversifying during lockdown and needed a logo for their new food market. The logo was to be based on the current logo for their restaurant Market Square (also created by me). The client specifically requested a hand drawn font so I created a bespoke font for them. It was important that the logo worked well on packaging such as labels, paper bags and wrappers as well as on shop signage and promotional material. The simple, rustic feel of the logo (think chalk boards on a market stall) and the monochromatic colours mean that the logo is easily used in many different formats.
