The following photographs were captured at the Crufts dog show in 2016, at the NEC Arena in Birmingham. The interviews and photographs formed into an editorial project; Vanity Fur - which explores the subject of anthropomorphism. To what extent can the dogs on show at Crufts be regarded as a commodity? Although the world of pet showing may seem funny or bizarre, I wanted to take the opportunity to meet the owners at these events to understand their individual reasons for showing and breeding animals.
