For their return to theater after Covid, Swindon G&S wanted something short and sweet. So they chose the simple story of a lass who loves a sailor, but is tempted by marriage to the rich, powerful Sir Joseph Porter (KCB).
In this project, the director asked for a poster that told the story - and didn't have any boats in it! After a bit of fiddling around, I came up with this.
