London has been a global city for over 300 years, and today 1 in every 9 Londoners is a citizen of another EU country. As the UK prepares to leave the European Union, immigration is likely to be severely restricted and the future of those already here is now uncertain. Amidst all the noise about immigration figures, global trade deals and the infamous £350 million a week, I want to put a human face on what is happening.
