About me

To whom it may concern,

I am applying for the role of freelance copyrigher... if it is possible to work from home or based in London

If this is the case I would be very interested in applying for this role. I am a writer with a BA Hons Journalism who has experience writing for a number of different mediums: web, print, newsletters, newspapers, radio, television and more.

I am definitely passionate about food and even more so now that I am a mother and have started to cook 'proper' food at home for my baby daughter.

I would love to get involved with writing for Morrisons and can definitely be a reliable member of your team.

When you said that you don't want 'wordy critiques or flowery language' I thought that I would be just right for this role as I've specialised in online journalism and editing and that is what I do on a daily basis. When writing for web no one wants to read wordy language - they just want to know the facts and read things in simple language.

I have nearly 10 years' experience writing in a number of different roles. This would be one of my first in terms of a brand but I feel that with my experience you can see I've adapted my writing to suit a number of different audiences - and that is what makes a good writer/journalist.

I would love to find out more and happy to submit you an example of my work if you are looking for someone like me who can be flexible and work to deadlines.

I currently work three full days a week while my daughter is in nursery but can change these days or be flexible to suit hours.

Kind regards,

Julia Faulks
