About me
Although I haven't had that many, I still believe my previous experience makes me suitable for most job. I am a trained journalist (degree level) who has been taught how to manage time, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Last year, I completed a two month internship with Britain's best selling women's magazine aimed at an Afro-Carribean audience and during this time I gained numerous skills that would be beneficial in any industry.During my time at this internship, I assisted the Fashion and Beauty Editor in tasks like writing articles, researching trends, product pulling and general admin work. These skills were then enhanced at my most recent and current role with LGN Events. At this job role, I have picked up new skills in press release writing and networking. All my previous experience has taught me how to use my own initiative whilst working as part of a team to assist those who need my help and making decisions. I believe I am an ideal candidate for fashion related job because I have a keen interest in all things fashion. I run my own blog (*) which has had 10,000 views in less than a year. I also believe I am suitable for the role because I can learn new skills quickly and have a ‘can-do attitude and excellent communications skills. I am also able to carry out great work load within a time limit and I am great at multi-tasking.
