About me
Hi,
I'm a junior copywriter who has experience writing long copy (between 5,,000 words long) short copy (a snappy four lines) and everything in between. I've also written plenty of landing pages, AFUs, and SEO-based website copy.
My previous employer was MoneyWeek, the biggest-selling financial publication in Britain. I've also worked for Buyagift, who gave me this feedback: "I've reviewed your copy and I think you did an excellent job! Your tone and style is exactly what we were looking for."
Below are a couple of samples of my work (all that I can fit into the word-limit here!). They are all from time at MoneyWeek. And don't worry - if MoneyWeek's house style isn't the soft TOV that you're looking for, then I'm sure I can adapt my writing to match the tone of your brand.
I hope to hear back from you soon,
Josh

Fracking - a special investors' report
Dear X,
Fracking - you're going to hear a lot more about it in the months to come. The simple fact is, all three of the main political parties have given it their support. That means it's an issue that's probably not just going to affect us, but the lives of our children as well.
And let's not forget... it could also be a great opportunity for investors. After all, we're talking about something that could replace conventional oil as our number one energy source.
But here at MoneyWeek, we've noticed in the media a lot of misinformed - and frankly unfounded - opinions on fracking. Obviously, news shows like to broadcast the points-of-view of the public. But these uninformed comments could give you a very misleading picture of the issue. And particularly as investors, that's something we should avoid.
That's why my colleague David Stevenson has put together this special report (long-time readers may remember David - he used to be the associate editor of MoneyWeek). It condenses, in one easy package, everything you need to know about this hot topic.
This report dispels a lot of the popular misconceptions about fracking. And - if you want to invest in fracking - it shows you what David believes is the best way to profit from this energy revolution.
He's tried to make this report as balanced as possible, presenting both sides of the debate. He then draws conclusions based on the available facts.
This free report will make you more clued up about this national issue than most people in the country.
And it could also mark a significant turning point in the way you invest.
