FIFA Pro Clubs, the mode in FIFA 21 that lets gamers create their own avatar and be part of a club, is only possible with male characters, so if women wanted to play in this mode, they had to use male avatars. New avatars catering to women were created by hacking the game mode and subverting the male personification tools. It led to the first women's club in career mode: She FC. For FIFA 22, the game finally decided to include women in the Pro Clubs mode and She FC recruited thousands of players.
