While at the brilliant Territory Studio, I had the chance to contribute to Atlas, working on FUI layouts for a mech robot cockpit. The art direction was already established when I joined, a slick mix of curved forms, fine line work, and dense micro detailing. My role was to design functional, believable screen layouts that matched this visual language and supported the storytelling on screen. The use of warm colours and light FUI gave the visuals a distinct and unique feel compared to more traditional sci-fi interfaces.Working alongside people at the top of their game forces you to level up fast. You sit down, look at the screen, and tell yourself: “This needs to be good.”I also designed a futuristic coffee machine UI for an interstellar starship, not your average brief but definitely one of the more fun ones.And as always, it’s cool to see your name in the end credits.
