The story;
After loosing his wife, Lisa, in a car crash, James feels bereaved and blames himself. Later he encounters a new drug advertised online and orders a product. It turns out to be a magical drug which allows him to see and communicate with Lisa again.
For this film, I was the sound producer. Most of the sound was recorded through a boom microphone to a digital DSLR we used to record the video footage. However, outside of shooting, I recorded ambience and a few extra sound effects, including the sound of a kettle boiling. I also negotiated with the music composer in regards to the score.
This film is what I personally consider my best project from my first year at university. We had slight difficulty during pre-production, considering a drop-out from one of the students and attempts to cast actors.
I also edited this film. Due to the pre-production delays, we were left with very limited time to produce. Therefore, editing was hurried; each time we filmed a section of footage, we edited those parts in-between shooting sessions.
For the original edit, I used Final Cut Pro 7.
