A vase of peonies, observed over time.
The work documents the gradual transition from freshness to decay; petals opening, softening, collapsing and eventually falling away. What begins as a familiar still life becomes something quieter and less certain.
Rather than intervene, the intention was simply to watch. The images sit somewhere between documentation and interpretation, capturing a process that is usually overlooked or hurried past.
