About me

My name is Jonathan Hannan. I am 38 years old and been working in the reprographics industry for the past 20 years.

I served a 4 year apprenticeship with Master Photo Ltd in Dublin where I learned all of the foundation elements of the Pre-Press Industry: manual page-makeup, retouching, scanning and Cromalin proofing.

After my apprenticeship I worked for the Scanning Shop in Dublin for 5 years, working part of my shift on my own, dealing with clients and seeing jobs through all stages from scanning to outputted film and proofs.

I moved to London in 1998 and have continued to work in Pre-Press Reprographics. Firstly for Electron Repro as their first Mac Operator helping set up their outputting system and training other members of staff to use the Mac programmes. Then I worked for SMAC for 4 years and The Fresh Media Group (Coloursystems and Fresh Media). At Coloursytems I worked as a Mac Operator. As sole nightshift member of Fresh Vision staff I was self responsible for having all in house work ready for client viewing in the morning.

I am highly motivated and able to work under pressure as well as to tight deadlines.
