Jonathan Ford is the Group Creative Director & Founding Partner of the global design agency Pearlfisher.
Now in its monumental 29th year of being an independent design agency, Jonathan's vision for Pearlfisher is as clear as it was from the very beginning: to continually further creative standards through provocative thinking and by boldly challenging the status quo.
Jonathan thrives on motivating himself and his global creative teams to push further, and has built some of world's best-known and loved brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Waitrose, Green & Black's, Target, Wolfgang Puck, Jamie Oliver, Help Remedies, and Jim Beam - while gaining countless Design Effectiveness Awards and a much coveted Gold Cannes Lion along the way.
With a desire to undertake initiatives that make a positive and sustainable impact on the world, Jonathan was the Creative Director of the Gold award-winning The Pearlfisher Garden - designed to visualise the impact of plastic waste on the underwater garden of our great oceans - at the 2018 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
His sustainable interests also see him as chair of the Haller Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation providing a model for ecological community development in Africa. Jonathan frequently represents Pearlfisher on the world stage - most recently sharing Pearlfisher's Lightweighting manifesto which comes to life as a philosophy centred around creating more from less.
Jonathan hosts a Challengers & Icons interview series to gain insights from the people driving the brands of the future - the full interview series can be found on the Pearlfisher website.
