ABOUT
My process begins with pencil sketches and evolves into vector designs as I experiment with various styles and illustrations to create dynamic graphic elements for both commercial and personal projects. I sketch, capture snapshots on my phone, and seek inspiration from the world around me, translating these insights into design elements. My approach is always intentional and infused with heart. I enjoy exploring various styles of illustration, drawing much of my inspiration from the informal hand-painted signage found in markets across Africa. There's a unique honesty and charm in the loose, freeform treatment. Additionally, I appreciate creating more stylised geometric illustrations and intricate graphic features. What defines an identity? I believe it tells a story, evokes emotions, or simply embodies an idea. An identity can be the first conversation you have or serve as an icebreaker. It can represent an evolution or a revolution, manifesting as a pictograph or an iconic image. Ultimately, it reflects what we believe truly represents you—right now, today, and in this moment.
