ABOUT

Keeping a step ahead of serious crime requires a range of skill sets besides those of officers, including analysts, pathologists, technicians and more. The Australian Federal Police were struggling to recruit diverse and diversely skilled candidates for these roles, so rather than traditional recruitment comms which were turning audiences off, Host/Havas identified what they were tuning into: true crime podcasts. Partnering with true crime podcasters Casefile, the agency created a six-part podcast that opened the vault on Australia’s most notorious crimes, and showed how a diverse range of skill sets brought them down.
