The African Pastors Fellowship is a charity that works along side churches in East Africa, training and resourcing church leaders and the communities they work in.

APF came to me to give them a fresh new look that would be fitting of the work they do. I was tasked with updating their logo, brand style and print collateral, which had not been previously updated since the early 2000’s.

For the logo, it was important that the overall shape of Africa remained while embracing an overall African look and feel. Inspiration was taken from traditional African patterns and the shape of Africa was created by using non-symmetrical circle shapes that are often found within them. A new colour palette was created using warm earthy colours, which further strengthened the link to the continent.

The new logo, colours, and shapes were used on new print materials including a quarterly newsletter, DL leaflets and pull-up banners.
