This was a fun project I worked on at Lick Creative with the Andi Ewington for MARVEL. He had designed some initial designs in Illustrator and I had to translate his 2D Illustrator drawings into "real" 3D models. We rendered them out with a partial background and a mapped floor. All the other visual effects where added in Photoshop after.
