State Transport Company Limited (STC) was 100% owned by the Government of Ghana. STC is recognised as the leading bus operator throughout Ghana. The company was set up in 1909. Four Share Prospectus were created and produced for the Government of Ghana. One prospectus was printed in the UK with the others printed in Ghana resulting in very poor quality! the crop marks and colour bar were printed in some not seen that before! Advertising promoting the four Share floatations was created and supplied to the Financial Times and the West Africa Times.

The design and artwork for the prospectus was all created by Jomo which included redrawing the STC logo in Illustrator, creating the map highlighting the STC routes and scanning the Divestiture by Government of Ghana in four parts then joining together in photoshop! A 'Bid Requirements' was also created, printed and inserted into the prospectus. Adverts were created for The Ghana Times and The Financial Times to promote the offer.

This 28 page prospectus was printed four colour process throughout on a 170 gsm art with a gloss laminate on the cover and printed in London by Darwin Press. The map of Ghana was used under agreed copyright from Collins Bartholomews. The 2000 finished prospectus were then sent by courier to Accra, Ghana.

RESULT
As a result of the prospectus and the offer 80% of the passenger transport division was sold and all of the Bulk Haulage Division.

CLIENT
Jomo created and produced four offer for sale prospectuses for my company Magna Consulting on behalf of the Ghanaian Government. A prospectus was created for sale of The State Transport Company, The GIHOC Pwalugu Cannery, Atebubu Commercial Farms Ltd and Pomadze Poultry Enterprises Ltd. The total offer was worth in excess of $25m to the Ghanaian Government. The overall design concept was excellent, providing superb impact amongst potential investors, the financial details were clearly defined, the print finish was to a high standard and all met our tight deadlines. Photoshop retouching and copyright clearance was also very efficiently dealt with by Jomo. The finished prospectuses were all very professional looking and assisted us in attracting bids and successfully selling The State Transport Company for a value well in excess of Government’s expectations. Jomo also produced a range of advertising for the Ghana Times and The Financial Times to promote the four sales
