ABOUT
Jomo were asked to design and create a charity recipe book to raise money for 'The Children's Society'. We worked closely with their marketing department to create everything to their design standards and once signed off we then went to print. There were no images at all for the cover so we encouraged friends and family to make puddings which were photographed, retouched and then used in the artwork.
This recipe book was a 50 page A5 portrait printed one colour litho throughout on a 150gsm. The cover was mat laminated both sides. A total of 2000 were printed and delivered to The Children's Society in London.
RESULT
Through selling all the recipe books throughout Bucks, Berks and Oxon much needed funds were raised for the charity.
CLIENT
"Jomo edited and designed a Recipe book for the Children's Society Charity. They did an outstanding job under very difficult circumstances as the recipes, coming from volunteers many of whom were unused to computers, varied enormously in format and typing ability. Jomo transformed the amaturish text into a most attractive and professional product which has been very enthusiastically receved by the Society members. As there were no photographs to use Jomo took the initiative and either made the puddings themselves or organised others to contribute. These stylish photographs were then used for our cover. They also came up with an excellent idea to market the book."
