John Wiley was going through a transformation process. Key to the strategy was greater use of technology. Wiley's well known online academic library (WOL) was targeted as a key element to digitally update. I worked on part of this called Author Services, a place where all authors and reviewers working for the 15,000 journals could submit and review articles, pay for successful ones, see journal views and citations and develop their reputation with tools we were to develop.
