ABOUT
Film - My First Love
This collection of black & white film photography is an ongoing project – 22 B&W limited edition handprints are currently in Milan, Italy to be exhibited.
Scripture tells us; “.., a prophet is seldom heard in his town.”
This is true – I drive by this railroad on a stretch of splendid coastline almost daily; I've come to know it too intimately. My challenge is to photograph it as if I'm visiting for the first time; I need to rediscover its newness – to shoot what has become 'ordinary' and make it look extraordinary! Not to appease me but, give my viewers a new take on this railway line...
Though this collection is my concept, a dear friend, Mark is guiding my creative endeavours and keeping me on track...
"MAKING LIGHT WORK" – is an in-house video demonstrating just how close the tracks are to the seashore...
